THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, September 9, 1942, p. 6: “Mrs. J. A. Bagby of Clarksville is at the Sanitarium of Paris for treatment.
DETROIT NEWS HERALD 10 Dec 1942 from microfilm in the Clarksville Library: “Mrs. J. A. Bagby of Clarksville, a life long resident of Red River County, died at the Sanitarium of Paris about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, after a lengthy illness. Funeral arrangements were delayed pending the arrival of a son, Latimer ‘Judge’ Bagby, who is in the Army Air Force, stationed at Salt Lake City, Utah. Surviving are 3 sons, John A., Elliott and Latimer Bagby all of Clarksville, a sister and a brother.”
