| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, April 18, 1982: "Sterling A. Bills Sterling A. Bills, 2320 E. Price, died Saturday, April 17, at St. Joseph's Hospital Services are pending with Bright-Holland Funeral Home." THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, April 19, 1982: "Sterling Bills. Sterling A. Bills, 2320 E. Price, died Saturday, April 17, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services were held Monday at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with John Cannon officiating and burial in West Post Oak Cemetery. Mr. Bills was born Sept. 5, 1911, in Paris, a son of Amos and Laura M. Higgs Bills. He was married to Addie Florence Bills in Jan. 1936 in Hugo, Okla. She died Feb. 23. 1980. Surviving are two sons, Richard Bills of Paris and Wayne Bills of Hot Springs, Ark.; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Croy of Paris and Mrs. Barbara Jones of Paris; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Bearers were Greg Baker, Roger Jones, Billy Jones, Ben Jones, John Jones and Mike Croy." On same stone as Addie F. Cole Bills. |
