Information from funeral home: VIRGINIA BELL 90, of Paris, died at, Friday, July 4, 2014 at Heritage House of Paris. Funeral services are set for 1:00 PM, Monday, July 7, 2014 at the United Pentecostal Church of Paris with Rev. Robert Myre and Rev. John David Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery in Cunningham. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home and at Mrs. Bell’s residence at all other times. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. Virginia was born May 1, 1924 in Cunningham to Ural David and Ida Mae Posey DeShong. She graduated from Cunningham schools and married Larry O. Bell on July 4, 1942 in Cunningham. He died June 18, 2010. Mrs. Bell was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Paris and taught Sunday School there for over 60 years. Mrs. Bell was devoted to her Lord Jesus and her entire family. Mrs. Bell is survived by four children, Linda and Larry Ray of Summerville, South Carolina, Ann and Sonny Thompson of Blossom, David and Denise Bell of Paris, and Michael Bell of Dallas; ten grandchildren, Teri and Waymon Creamer of Paris, Kathy and Larry Ballard of Reno, Kristen and Clay Carsner of Reno, Tracy Ray of Summerville, South Carolina, Jamie Ray of North Charleston, South Carolina, Rodney and Becky Jones of Paris, Crystal and Rod Richardson of Reno, Jeff and Vicki Jones of Paris, Stacie and Matt Bratcher of Blossom, and Hannah and Jim White of Lewisville, Texas; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers are Cameron Creamer, Tyler Creamer, Brenton Pentecost, Michael Womack, Daniel Lawrence, and Waymon Creamer. If desired, memorials may be made to Outreach Ministries of United Pentecostal Church.
