THE PARIS NEWS, September 14, 2014: “Dorothy Louise Baldwin. Dorothy Louise Baldwin, 70 of Paris, entered eternal rest on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at Heart Hospital Baylor in Plano. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in St. Paul Baptist Church where Pastor Shay Easter Bills is Sr. Pastor, and the Rev. Larry Dixon will officiate services. Interment will follow in Restlawn Garden Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. She was born Jan. 29, 1944, in Paris to the parentage of the late C.B. and Onnie Lee Dawson. A member of Greater New Faith Baptist Church, Dorothy attended Gibbons High School and later retired from Campbell Soup Company. She was preceded in death by her father, C.B. Dawson; mother, Onnie Lee Dawson; brothers, C.B. Dawson, Jr., Billy Edward Dawson, and Donald Ray Dawson; sisters, Betty Thompson, Ann Ballard and Virginia Randall. She is survived by her children, Sherry Maxwell of Paris; Deborah Haynes of Frisco; Regina Jones of Arlington; Robert Holt and wife, Ramona of Paris and Michael Holt and wife, Bridgett of Balch Springs. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends."
