Information from Funeral Home: James Henry Boone entered into Eternal Rest on April 11, 1975. Mr. Boone was born in Lamar County, March 27, 1901 to the union of the late Mr. & Mrs. John Rufus Boone. He confessed his hope in Christ at an early age and became a member of Mr. Pisgah Baptist church under the leadership of the late Rev. H. N. Logan. He leaves to mourn his passing, a son, Mr. James F. Boone of Hugo, OK; two daughters, Mrs. Nina Jo Smith and Mrs. Willie Johnson both of Paris; Two sisters, Mrs. Louise Bigelow of Omaha, N. E, and Mrs. Kathryne Simmons of Paris, Three brothers; Mr. Raymond Boone, Mr. Leonard Boone and Prof. Robert Boone all of Paris. Fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
