THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, November 15, 1944, p. 8: “BARABZIEJ INFANT. Death of Ruthie Ann, 7 months, daughter of Anthony B. Barabziej and his wife, the former Miss Ruth Herron of Mount Pleasant, occurred at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at Griffiths Children’s Hospital. She had been brought here for treatment by an aunt, Mrs. John J. Whitecotton of Mount Pleasant. The baby was born April 14. Riddle Brothers Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant has charge of arrangements for burial which will be made there probably Thursday. The child’s father is in England in the Army, and the mother is in a Dallas hospital, where she has been ill some time.”
