| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, May 5, 2012: "Mike Teubner, 65, went home to be with his beloved Savior and Lord on Thursday, May 3, 2012. He is laughing and running in a new body that knows no pain or sorrow. 'I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand upon the earth.' Job 19:25. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 10 a.m. Monday, May 7, at Springhill Cemetery, on County Road 45430, with the Rev. David Phillips officiating. Friends may call on the family at their home in the Novice Community. Mike was born in Oak Cliff on Oct. 17, 1946, the oldest son of Wilbur and Elizabeth Braun Teubner. He started working at age 13 and worked a variety of jobs. For eight years he was employed by the Dallas Post Office until he became disabled. In 1980 Mike moved to Novice to be with his parents in their retirement. He was active at Paris Bible Church and Christians In Action until ill health forced him to remain at home. He loved fishing and hunting. His wife, Rebekah, and 12-year-old daughter, Sarah, survive him as does his brother, Mark (Lisa) Teubner of Houston, in-laws, and other extended family members. Jesus answered ‘I am the way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’ John 14:6."
