Information from funeral home: Jeremy Wayne Templeton, 29, of Paris, who was a dearly loved angel to his family, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, January 16, 2012 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Friday, January 20, 2012 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Reed and Reverend Jack Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 pm, Thursday. Jeremy was born February 12, 1982 in Paris to Gary Templeton and Janie Barnes Templeton. Jeremy was a proud graduate of Paris High School and was of the Baptist faith. He was dearly loved by all who met him and even with his disabilities, the challenges he overcame, will serve as an inspiration for all those that were blessed enough to know him. He enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics and he deeply loved music. His radio was a valuable treasure of which he dearly loved. Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claud & Irene Barnes and an uncle, Jimmie Barnes. Survivors include his mother, Janie Barnes Templeton and Henry of Paris, his father Gary Templeton & wife Leslie of Powderly; four sisters, Jennifer Jackson & husband Danny of Paris, Heather Templeton & husband Antonio of Paris, Tricia Reed & husband Robert of Sumner and Courtney Valdes & husband Lindsey of Austin; grandparents, Wayne & Emilie Templeton of Paris; a special uncle, Larry Barnes of Arthur City; two special aunts, Tammy Templeton and Linda Beard; his nieces & nephews, Alexis, Tony, Tyler, Emalee, Dixie, Kelsey & Soloman; his very special pet at home, Gizmo; along with numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and a host of friends. Special thanks are extended to all his teachers and caregivers, especially Georgie, Dorothy and Louella. Casket bearers will be Larry Barnes, Aaron Barnes, Roger Barnes, Roy Beard, Terry Beard and Jeff Starnes.
