Information from funeral home: Norma Doris Ussery, 87, went home to be with the Lord at 11:00 PM Sunday, September 15, 2013. She was born on May 14, 1926 in Anton, Texas a daughter of Thomas and Mattie Ford Worley. She was a homemaker and a member of Pathway Church of God. Mrs. Ussery was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Norma Jean Ussery, 10 brothers and sisters including a twin brother Doyle Worley. She is survived by her husband Paul Junior Ussery whom she married on July 25, 1942; daughters Linda Brickman of Macon, Georgia and Tina Kennison and husband David of Paris; grandchildren Deanna Groover and husband Billy Joe, Leigh Jester and wife Janet, Dale Jester all of Macon, Georgia, Katrina Louise Obrien of Austin, Texas, Chance Paul Kennison of Paris, Connie Lynn Sanchez and husband Gabriel, Dominic Kennison and wife Deedra all of Paris; 22 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren; a very special niece Carolyn Winkle. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Evers officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Leigh Jester, Dominic Kennison, Chance Kennison, Deren Kennison, Cody Rohleder, and Billy Joe Groover serving as pallbearers. Alternate pallbearer is Gabriel Sanchez. Family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
