THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, October 5, 1937, p. 7: “ANTLERS MAN DIES HERE. Buddie Berry Succumbs To Injuries In Monday Accident. Buddie Berry of Antlers, Okla., 47 year old highway employee, died at 12:20 o’clock Tuesday morning at the Sanitarium of Paris, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident Monday. Both pelvic bones and one shoulder were fractured and he had suffered internal injuries, it was said at the hospital, where he was brought about 7 o’clock Monday evening. The body was returned to Antlers by Manton-Fry funeral home but arrangements for burial had not been learned here Monday noon.”
