Notes

THE PARIS NEWS, April 24, 1940, Pg. 3: “Body of a premature child was found in ditch near the Lamar District Fair grounds Tuesday afternoon. Prematurity and decomposition made it impossible to determine sex or nationality. Justice of the Peace U. S. Logee, Sheriff J. H. Ratliff, Chief Deputy Sheriff George Robertson, Assistant County Attorney O. L. Golden and Royce Whitten were on the scene after the body was found. Judge Logee said the body was buried on the spot.”
