tpn THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, 26 Nov 1939, p. 7: "MRS. ANNE BALLARD DIES LATE SATURDAY - Mrs. Anne Ballard, 83 years old died at 9:40 o'clock Saturday night at her home, 202 Oak Street. The funeral will be held at the residence some time Sunday afternoon, Brown-Roden Funeral Home having charge. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Joe Crutchfield, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren."
