| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, October 19, 2016, page 3: “Jeanette Ann Bivens, 82 of Paris, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at Paris Regional Medical Center following a brief battle with cancer. Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors will hold services 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016, in the chapel with Bro. Billy Norris officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will hold visitation at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016. Jeanette was born Dec. 31, 1933, to William Amos Gist and Stella Ford Gist. She married Raymond Wesley Bivens on Nov. 14, 1953. She was preceded in death by a grandson in 1977 and her husband in 2001. Jeanette is survived by three daughters, Regina Kincaid and husband, Burrell, Terri Jimmerson and husband, Bobby, and Lisa Bivens; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous family and friends.
