THE PARIS NEWS, Dec. 29, 2010: “Earl Ingram, 70, of Paris left his earthly home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Myre officiating. Burial is to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family is to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The son of Bill Ingram and Reva Goodwin Ingram, he was born April 14, 1940, in Paris. His career with Sara Lee, as a truck driver, spanned 36 years. He received two ‘One Million Mile Safety Awards’ for his safe driving. Going to Big B Auction and flea markets each weekend was a pleasurable part of his life. He loved helping people, and he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Ingram; his mother, Reva Goodwin Brackeen; a son, Aubrey Earl Ingram Jr.; a brother, John Paul Ingram; his father-in-law, Woody Watson Sr.; and a cousin, Tommy Ingram. Survivors include his wife, Jo Watson Ingram, whom he married Dec. 30, 1977; children, Jeff Ingram and wife, Teresa, of Powderly, Stephanie Srader and husband, Paul, of Sherman, Greg Ingram and wife, Jodie, of Blossom, Christy Kent and husband, Keith, of Paris, David Gayler and wife, Michelle, of Oklahoma and Donnie Gayler of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Zach Ingram, Tanner Ingram, Aubrey Porter, Katelyn Kent, Matt Ingram, Blaine Slagle, Mason Ingram, Eric Kent, Kaleb Ingram and Katie Gayler; his mother-in-law, whom he loved and adored, Jimmie Watson of Paris; two sisters, Carrie Brummett and Marie Stewart, both of Paris; a brother, Charles Ingram, of Athens; a sister-in-law, Linda LaForge and husband, Larry, of Paris, a brother-in-law, Woody Watson Jr., of Paris; along with many nieces, nephews and friends, including his coffee buddies at Ward’s. Named as pallbearers are Jeff Ingram, Greg Ingram, Keith Kent, Paul Srader, David Gayler and Donnie Gayler. His grandchildren are to serve as honorary pallbearers.
