THE PARIS NEWS, Dec. 21, 2010: “Ozie Mae Battle went home from labor to reward Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, in Dallas. A celebration of her life is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 1002 5th St. N.E. in Paris. Her final resting place will be at Restlawn Memorial Park in Paris. The services are entrusted to Peaceful Rest Funeral Home, 1011 W. Dallas Ave., in Cooper.”
