| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Dec. 03, 2010: “DEPORT, David A. Barker Jr., 80, of Deport died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, in Dubuis Hospital of Paris. Wood Funeral Home has charge of cremation arrangements. He was born July 3, 1930, in San Antonio. He was a retired building engineer and was a U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Army Reserve veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Thomas Barker, of Deport; children: David Barker of San Antonio, Aaron Barker and wife, Theresa, of Nashville, Tenn., Daniel Barker and wife, Tommi, of San Antonio, Sheila Davidson of Clarksville, Joe Davidson and wife, Margaret, of Corpus Christi, Vince Davidson of Corpus Christi, Kristi Sparks of Deport, Paul Davidson and wife, Alicia, of Hoskins, S.C., and Michael Smith of Deport; stepson, Bill Allen and wife, Cassi, of Paris; special friend, Ray Norris of Clarksville; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.” |
