THE PARIS NEWS, Oct. 26, 2010: “Dorothy ‘Dot' Blackwell, 76, of Paris died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at the Paris Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Dinkens officiating. Burial is to follow in Restlawn Garden Cemetery with Maxey Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. The family is to receive visitors from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.”
