| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Jan. 08, 2010: “Charles Battle Jr., 51, of Paris died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Brumfield officiating. Interment is to be in Restlawn Garden Cemetery. Maxey Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. He was born Oct. 16, 1958, in Paris to Ozie Dangerfield Battle and the late Charles Battle Sr. He graduated from Paris High School, class of 1977. He was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, LaMonica Bills Battle of Paris; sisters, Dr. Gwendolyn Lavert of Marion, Ind., Janice Adams and husband, Rev. Carson, of Marion, Ind., and Judy Battle of Paris; and two grandchildren.” |
