THE PARIS MORNING NEWS, Saturday, February 24, 1917, p. 5: "The two-year-old son of Leonard Ewer, living northeast of Paris died at 6 o'clock yesterday morning of pneumonia. The funeral will be held at 10:30 o'clock this morning at Union Grove. Mrs. Ewer and another of the children are in bed with pneumonia."
