THE PARIS MORNING NEWS, Wednesday, February 13, 1918, p. 3: "J. W., the five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Tyler of Hugo, died at the Sanitarium yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock. He had been at the Sanitarium about a week suffering with pneumonia. The funeral will be held at the residence of T. B. White 664 West Austin street this morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Kendall and burial will be at Evergreen cemetery."
