THE PARIS NEWS, Dec. 15, 2009: “Lillie Irene (Nutt) Ingram, 87, of Paris passed away peacefully at Paris Regional Medical Center Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009. Graveside services are set for 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at Providence Cemetery with Rev. Steve Gunter officiating. Services are provided by Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 13, 1922, in Powderly, to Silas James Nutt and Nora McElyea Nutt. She enjoyed growing up with her six brothers and two sisters and remained close to her family throughout her life, including attending annual family reunions. She married Jack Mose Ingram and was a wonderful mother to their two sons, Gary and Kenny, as well as a grandmother who lovingly spoiled her four grandchildren and the rest of her family with her cheerful attitude, delicious cooking, skillful sewing and generous gift-giving. Other hobbies she enjoyed included gardening, singing, listening to country gospel music and visiting Branson, Mo., with Mose to enjoy live performances of her favorite music. She was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she was involved in charitable endeavors and enjoyed the countless friendships she formed. In addition, she cherished her childcare position at First Baptist Church for over two decades and took pride in remembering the children and their families as if they were part of her own. Because of this, she was met with hugs and friendly hellos almost anywhere she went in Paris. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she has touched. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Albert, Allen, Calvin, Fred Sr. and S. A. Nutt; and by a sister, Willie Mae McFadden. She is survived by her husband, Mose; two sons, Gary Ingram of Paris and Kenny Ingram of Rockwall; a grandson, Bobby Ingram of Tigertown; three granddaughters, Kristina Highley of Westminster, Colo., Kelly Decker of Rockwall and Keela Foster of Beaumont; a brother, Ernest Nutt of Hopewell; a sister, Florence Tucker of Paris; a great-grandson, Kyle Decker of Rockwall; and two great-granddaughters, Zeya and Valyn Highley, both of Westminster, Colo. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Nutt, Fred Nutt, Donald Day, Earl Ingram, J. C. Dees and Sonny Dees. Online condolences may be made at www.fry-gibbs.com.”
On the same stone with Jack M. "Mose" Ingram.
