THE PARIS NEWS, Dec. 13, 2009: “CLARKSVILLE, John Hudson (J.H.) Baugh, Jr., 68, of Manchester passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, in Clarksville Nursing Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating. Burial follows in Tuggle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family received friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, at Clarksville Funeral Home. He was born Aug. 4, 1941, in Red River County to John Hudson and Addie Nailling Baugh. He grew up in the Negley and Manchester communities of Red River County and graduated from Dimple High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963 and the Army Reserves until 1966. On July 21, 1973, he married Jane Flournoy Middleton. He was an electrician and worked for several commercial electrical companies until his retirement in 2003. He was a member of Leesville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Ruth Swensk and Betty Jo Rabin; brothers-in-law, Art Swensk and Bob Rabin. Survivors include his wife, Jane; two sons, Chris Baugh and Keith Middleton; four grandchildren, Teresa Baugh, Michael Middleton, Kevin Baugh and wife, Ashlee, and Tanner Middleton; two great-grandchildren, Addisyn Middleton and Alex Baugh; his father and mother-in-law, Cecil and Janice Flournoy; a sister-in-law, Linda Hendricks; a brother-in-law, David Flournoy and wife, Judy; several aunts, uncles and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers are Gary Hendricks, Randy Hendricks, Jeff Hendricks, Dean Shelby, Johnny Phillips and Clint Whittle. Honorary Pallbearers are William Justiss, Scott Britt and Larry Nolan.
