THE PARIS NEWS, Nov. 20, 2009: “HUGO, Okla., Sam A. Babcock, 77, of Hugo, Okla., died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22 at Mt. Olive Funeral Chapel with Rev. Vernon Babcock and Rev. Jessie Babcock officiating. Interment is to follow in Springs Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Mt. Olive Funeral Home. The family is to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at Mt. Olive Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo.”
