THE PARIS NEWS, Sept. 11, 2009: “Christine Bass, 93, of Paris died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Arthur City with Rev. Harold Dangerfield officiating. Interment is to be held in Reeds Prairie Cemetery. Maxey Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.”
