THE PARIS NEWS, Aug. 20, 2009: “George Brigham, 84, of Dallas, formerly of Paris, passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2009. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Johnson Chapel CME Church with the Rev. Charles Simpson officiating. Interment is to take place in Restlawn Gardens Cemetery. Maxey Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The family receives friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at the funeral home.”
