THE PARIS NEWS, Sept. 28, 2008: "CLARKSVILLE, Abbie Lee Cook Baptiste, 76, of Fort Worth, formerly of Clarksville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Haywood Cemetery in Clarksville with Rev. Ossie Coleman, eulogist. Interment follows in Haywood Cemetery under the direction of Citizens Funeral Home."
