THE PARIS NEWS, Dec. 30, 2007: “Linda Louise Brumley, 53, of Paris died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at Paris Regional Medical Center. A graveside service is set for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, in Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery. The family gathers from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. She was born April 11, 1954, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Leonard L. and Joann B. Thorpe. She married Charles E. Brumley Oct. 20, 2001, in Paris. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Charles Brumley of the home; six children, Angie Hutchings and husband, Laton, Gene Cashion Jr. and wife, Christal, Amanda Bohanan and husband, Daniel, Jason Cashion, Mary Thorpe and Kathy Lang and husband, Joseph; 11 grandchildren; her mother, Joann Thorpe; and four brothers, Glenn, Leonard, Kevin and Jimmy Thorpe.
