| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Dec. 27, 2007: "Stanley R. Bledsoe, 70, of Calera, Okla., died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, in Durant, Okla. Funeral services are scheduled for 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home with interment following in the West Post Oak Cemetery of Lamar County. The family receives friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. He was born June 7, 1937, in the Garretts Bluff community, a son of Jim Earman and Zeta Belle McFatridge Bledsoe. He was a retired farmer. He married Loretta Truitt on Sept. 30, 1960, in Stillwell, Okla. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jim Bledsoe of Kenafic, Okla., Stanley Bledsoe Jr. of Calera and Doyle Bledsoe of Colbert, Okla.; five daughters, Barbara Wilson of Cattle Falls, Wash., Mary Copeland of Cartwright, Okla., Janette Himes of Calera, Juanita Bledsoe of Achille, Okla., and Peggy Bledsoe, of Locust Grove, Okla.; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; seven brothers and four sisters. Named to serve as pallbearers are Jim Bledsoe, Jim Bledsoe Jr., Stanley Bledsoe Jr., Doyle Bledsoe, Jeffrey Singleton, Jimmy Bledsoe, Obert Bledsoe and Jay Richardson.
