THE PARIS NEWS, Nov. 29, 2007: "CLARKSVILLE, Florence Lucille Burrow, 88, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at Clarksville Nursing Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. James Brown and the Rev. Jack Elliott officiating. Burial follows in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family received friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born March 16, 1919, in Blanton Creek Community in Red River County, to Luther T. and Fannie Mae Harding Thompson. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dock Burrow, and two sisters, Vera Humphrey and Cecil Malone. She is survived by two sons, Marion Burrow and wife, Delena, of Paris and Ronnie Burrow of Clarksville; one daughter, Sharon Mabry and husband, Gene, of Clarksville; one granddaughter, Angela Adams and husband, Curtis of Clarksville."
