THE PARIS NEWS, Nov. 03, 2008: "CLARKSVILLE, Edna Dee Rosson, 95, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, in Regency Nursing Center. Services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Bill Whiteman officiating. Burial follows in Clarksville Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at Clarksville Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 22, 1913, in Leon County, to Lee Jackson and Mary Watson Rosson. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Relis W. Tackett; son, Willie L. Tackett, five sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her sons, Jerry R. and wife, Linda Tackett, of Paris, Shelby G. and wife, Carol Tackett, of Garland, Douglas M. Tackett of McKinney; her daughter, Nina and husband, Michael Snowden, of Missouri City; her daughter-in-law, Linda Tackett of Clarksville; her grandchildren, Tia, Andrea, Audra, Tishie, Tim, Tonya, Gerald, Bryan, Michelle, Callie, Landon, Melissa, Lance, Sarah; 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Gearld, Lance, Tim and Jerad Tackett, Brent Arnold, Dakota Flores, Tony and Matthew Rust. Online condolences may be made to the Tackett family at www.clarksvillefuneralhome.com."
