THE PARIS NEWS, Sept. 10, 2007: "Euvone Brewer, 79, of Blossom died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Blossom with the Rev. Bill Dickey officiating. Burial follows at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, with the Rev. Neil Higginbotham officiating. The family receives friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. She was born Jan. 11, 1928, in Port Arthur, a daughter of Alva Homer and Norma Lee Moore Clay. She married Joe A. Brewer on Aug. 11, 2001, in San Diego, Calif. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Blossom. She was a very loving and caring person and the type of person who never met a stranger. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Joe A. Brewer; children, Linda K. Prince of Nederland, John Clark of San Diego, Calif., and Loretta Johnson of Owens Cross Roads, Ala.; grandchildren, Dalton Prince, Jamie Prince, Kimber Wolford, Melinda Herrington, Paul Dane, John Clark, Catillia Clark, John 'Whit' Whittinghan and James Johnson; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alma Ellen Green of Evant and Gay Nell Rutherford of Waco, and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
