| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, July 22, 2007: "Corene L. Benton, 79, of Paris, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away July 21, 2007, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Graveside services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, at Kings Cemetery in the Aley community near Kemp, with Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family receives friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. She was born December 8, 1927, in Cunningham, a daughter of George and Eunice Green Robinson and one of 11 children. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Jo Fannin, Gary Lee Benton, Richard Benton and Denise Stone; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Rhodes, and a host of family and friends.
