THE PARIS NEWS, May 25, 2007: "Mary Lee Thomas, 66, of Paris died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Baylor Regional Medical Center in Plano. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26, at Saint Paul Baptist Church. Burial follows in Fairland-Littlejohn Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. The family receives friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She was born Oct. 23, 1940, in Clarksville, to the late Allen Rosser Sr. and Mary English Rosser. She was a member of Saint Paul Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Thomas Sr. Survivors include her sons, James A. Thomas of Paris, James E. Thomas of Omaha, Neb., and Anthony Thomas of Plano; daughters, Aneita Brown of Paris, Dianna Landry of Missouri City and Rebecca Morris of Sugarland; brothers, Willie C. Rosser of Houston and Allen Rosser Jr. of Clarksville; sisters, Essie Sims of Clarksville and Dorothy Fulbright of Fulbright; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews."
