| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, May 14, 2007: "Paul J. Thomas, 83, of Paris died Monday, May 14, 2007; Maxey Funeral Home." THE PARIS NEWS, May 18, 2007: "Paul 'Skeet' Thomas, 84, of Paris died Monday, May 14, 2007, at Paris Healthcare Center. Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Olive Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. R. L. Gray officiating. Interment follows in Egypt Cemetery in Blossom under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. He was born Feb. 19, 1923, in Lamar County, to Island and Ella Patton Thomas. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church of Blossom. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tommie Thomas; five brothers; one sister and his parents. Survivors include his sons, Bryan Thomas and Bradley Thomas, both of Paris; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild." |
