THE PARIS NEWS, Oct. 13, 2008: "Mardissa Yvonne Thomas, 47, of Sulphur Springs passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2008. Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Battle officiating. Interment follows in Fairland-Littlejohn Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home."
