THE PARIS NEWS, Apr. 07, 2008: "BOGATA, Eula Fay Burns, 77, of Hagansport died Saturday, April 5, 2008, in East Texas Medical Center in Mount Vernon. Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Colliers Chapel Cemetery near Hagansport with the Rev. Paul Newby officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. She was born May 12, 1930, in Hoovertown, in Lamar County, the daughter of Esker and Cletus Opal Luttrell Thomas. She married Garland Burns, Oct. 16, 1946. He preceded her in death Oct. 14, 1998. She was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Burns in 2000. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Burns, of Hagansport; two sons, Bobby Burns, and wife, Shirley, of Mount Vernon, and Danny Burns, and wife, Pat, of Sulphur Springs; a sister-in-law, Glenda Burns, of Hagansport; a special friend, Glenda Stubblefield, of Mount Vernon; a sister, Jean Isabel, of DeKalb; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren."
