THE PARIS NEWS, Mar. 08, 2007: "CLARKSVILLE, William Albert 'Bill' Brem, 81, of Annona died Monday, March 5, 2007, at Regency Nursing Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, at Lindeman Chapel with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Interment follows in Boxelder Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. He was born June 5, 1925, in Red River County, to William Elmer and Lydia Smith Brem. He retired from insurance sales and was a rancher and farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Brem; brother-in-law, Noel Meadows; nephew, William David Brem. Survivors include his companion of many years and sweetheart, Edna Glover of Clarksville; son, Ronald William and wife, Jeanie Brem, of Denison; daughters, Linda Carolyn and husband, Scooter Brown, of Celina, Deborah Gay and husband, David Meeks, of Dangerfield; sisters, Emma Lou 'Honey' Meadows of Annona and Shirley Ann Rogers of Annona; brothers, Ollie M. 'Buster' Brem and Bobby L. Brem, both of Annona; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren."
