THE PARIS NEWS, Oct. 31, 2006: "MIDLAND, W. L. 'Uncle Bud' Ingram, 75, of Midland passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland with Brother Bob Porterfield of the West Kentucky Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Hwy., Midland, Texas 79701 (432) 683-5555. He was born June 17, 1931, in Paris, to Scase and Mona Ingram. After graduating from high school in 1948, he served in the Army. A professional rodeo contestant, he rode bulls, bareback and saddle broncs. He owned and operated Ingram Trucking Company in Paris, most of his life. The past 10 years he was a tool pusher for Crouch Well Service. He was well liked by everyone and will be missed by a large family of sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends. He was truly one of a kind and marched to a different drummer. Survivors include three sisters, Jimmie Crouch and husband, Howard, Lynda Avance and husband, Billy John, and Pat Dawson; nieces, Tracy Youngs and husband, Wayne, Pati Quain and husband, Steve; and nephews, Jim Crouch and wife, Sid, and Russ Dawson and wife, Tonya. Pallbearers will be Jim Crouch, Vicente Lopez, Russ Dawson, Wayne Youngs, Clif Lewis, Tony Rosa and Hillary Hellinghausen. To place on-line condolences please visit www.mem.com."
