THE PARIS NEWS, Oct. 11, 2006: “Mary M. Barker, 88, of Woodland Park, Colo., since 1999, formerly of Paris, died Sunday Oct. 8, 2006, in Woodland Park. Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 14, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Redus officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. The family receives friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She was born March 10, 1918, in Paris, to William and Ethel Gage. She was their last surviving child. She graduated from Paris High School and Paris Junior College. She was a member of Springlake Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Billy Allen of Woodland Park, Colo., and numerous nieces and nephews in the Paris area. Online condolences may be sent to the Barker family by visiting www.fry-gibbs.com.”
