THE PARIS NEWS, Apr. 16, 2007: "Margaret Gaynell Bramlett, 93, of Paris passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Stepping Stones alternative care facility in Paris. Funeral services are to be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Lawson officiating. Burial follows in Evergreen Cemetery. The family receives friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born Dec. 6, 1913, in the Lowman Community in Lamar County, the daughter of Joe A. and Willie Wood Bramlett. She graduated from Lowman School, Paris High School, and Paris Junior College. She taught school at Lowman, worked at Camp Maxey during the construction period, and was employed by Liberty National Bank in Paris from March 16, 1944 to Dec. 31, 1992, retiring as assistant cashier. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday school teacher and church treasurer. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nadine Bridges; brother, Walter E. Bramlett; twin baby sisters, Maurine and Christine and a niece Hilda Bridges Huddleston. Survivors include brother-in-law, Cleba Bridges; niece, Julia Bridges Chastain and husband, Benny, of Haskell,Okla.; nephew, Cleba Joe Bridges and wife, Shirley, of Paris. Other survivors include great nieces and nephews, Vicki Chastain David, and her son, Chris Chastain, of Bailey, Colo.; Michael Chastain of Olathe, Kan., and his daughter, Moriah of Bolckow, Mo.; Kelly Bridges of Friendswood; and Jamie Bridges of Conroe; and several cousins. Pallbearers will be Phillip Cecil, Elbert Nance, Benny Fields, Thomas Roach, Robert Skidmore, Scott Roach and Bill Montgomery.
