| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, May 11, 2001: "Ellena Bennett, 99, 816-10th NE, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, at Christus St. Joseph's Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at New Birth Baptist Church with the Rev. S. F. Evans officiating. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Rockyford Cemetery in Roxton.Surviving are two sons, Leo Rose of San Diego and Lavern (Fayrene) Bennett of Dallas; a daughter, Louise Booker Brown of Paris; and godchildren, Patricia Robins, Yolunde Robins Reeves, Tony Robins, Lonnie Robins, and Donna Robins Jackson."
