THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, Jan. 4, 1957: "The funeral of Cecil Mae, four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Herman Burns, Negro residents of 781 W. Henderson St., will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Church of God in Christ No. 3, Elder Pratt will officiate, and Ferguson Funeral Home will make interment in Glory community.  The child did December 29 in a Paris hospital after illness."
