THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, 26 Mar 1954, p. 7: “MRS. W. S. BAGGETT. Mrs. Lillie Baggett, 85, of Rt. 2, Roxton, widow of W. S. Baggett, died of a heart attack, Thursday about 10 p.m. in Paris. She was at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Melvin F. Gates, 919-19th NW. The funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Ben Franklin, where McDonald Funeral Home of Cooper will make interment. Mrs. Baggett made her home near Roxton with a daughter, Mrs. T. O. Bost. Mr. Baggett, to whom she was married Dec. 3, 1888, died a number of years ago. Surviving are these children: Mrs. Bost, Mrs. C. M. Miller of San Isidro, and H. H. Baggett, Cleburne, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.”
