THE PARIS NEWS, Jan. 11, 2006: “Joel Wayne ‘Buddy’ Ingram, 65, of Reno passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, in North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, Mo., after an unexpected illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, in the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Chapel with Bob Baker officiating. Final dismissal will take place at the chapel, as there will be no committal service. The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to service. He was born Feb. 20, 1940, in Paris, a son of Ivy Joe ‘Dumas’ and Josephine Ann Strickland Ingram. He was a truck driver for Sara Lee and was a licensed master plumber, real estate agent, and pilot. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Sandra Joyce Black. He is survived by a son, Kirk Ingram and wife, Debbie, of Pattonville; granddaughter, Johna Ingram of Pattonville; sisters, Joan Ingram of Garland and Janice Winton of Paris; brother, Larry Ingram of Dallas; many nieces and nephews. If desired, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Rivercrest Elementary Library, 4220 US Hwy. 271 S., Bogata, Texas 75417. Online condolences maybe registered at www.fry-gibbs.com.”
