THE PARIS NEWS, Aug. 23, 2005: 'MCKINNEY, Eustacio Hernandez 'Pete' Urbano, 68, of McKinney passed into heaven Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, in Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Chapel with Fr. Harold Lowe officiating. Interment follows in Wilson Chapel Cemetery. The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with Rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 601 S. Tennessee St., in McKinney. He was born March 29, 1937, in Noble, to Equiterio and Anita Hernandez Urbano. He was an iron worker by trade for 25 years. He was proud to have taken part in building the Dallas skyline. He then became a crossing guard for J. L. Greer Elementary School. He was very proud to help the little ones get safely to school everyday. He worked on the construction of the Act Academy and was very proud of his grandchildren who attend school there. Working at Montgomery Kone was also a joy for him. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Danny and Christopher Urbano; and nephew, Tules Gonzales. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Shirley Urbano; daughter, Karen Cutrer and husband, Lee; their children, Shauna Davis, Garnett Harrison and Sarah Cutrer; a son, John Urbano and wife, Debbie, of Paris; daughters, Kellye Urbano, and Rachael Urbano Estes and her husband; and great-grandsons, Wesley and Ethan Estes. We will miss you 'PaPa' and will always love you.'
