THE PARIS NEWS, Nov. 15, 2005: 'DALLAS, Lois A. Taylor passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, in Richardson. Services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Restland Wildwood Chapel. The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Restland Funeral Home. She was born on June 5, 1920 in Atlas. She loved gardening, loved flowers, enjoyed cooking and doing crafts with her hands and had a beautiful singing voice. She also wrote many poems throughout her life. She loved and cherished her relationship with Jesus above everything and was a devoted lady to her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer M. Taylor; three brothers; two sisters; and daughter, Sharon Taylor. She is survived by a son, Gary Taylor and wife, Delores; son, David Taylor and wife, Patricia; daughter, Lois Rogers and husband, Richard; son, Tim Taylor; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family.'
