THE PARIS NEWS, Nov. 14, 2005: 'COOPER, Frances Louise Beeler, 89, of Pecan Gap passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, in a Paris Hospital. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the Delta Funeral Home Chapel in Cooper with Elmer L'Roy and Joe Wishard officiating. Burial follows in Pecan Gap Cemetery under the direction of Delta Funeral Home. The family receives friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was born Feb. 23, 1916, in the Rattan community, the daughter of Edgar and Mattie Lou Martin Allison. She married Lawrence Stell Beeler on Oct. 31, 1934, and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1996. She had worked as a proof reader at Hennington Publishing in Wolfe City. She was a member of Oak Ridge Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Melton. Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Allison Beeler of Honey Grove and Ronald Edwin and wife, Nan Beeler, of Pecan Gap; one sister, Judy Allison Criswell of Temple; two grandchildren, Ricky Lawrence Beeler of Frisco and Jody Allison Beeler of Pecan Gap; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Stell Beeler and Jordan Nicole Beeler both of Cooper. If desired, memorials may be made to Oak Ridge Church of Christ or Pecan Gap Cemetery.'
