THE PARIS NEWS, Dec. 11, 2005: 'Lois Rogers Branch, 82, of Roxton died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Paris Regional Medical Center. A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. David Holt officiating. Interment follows in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Ben Franklin. She was born June 30, 1923, in Bessemer, Ala., the daughter of Frank and Birdie Lou Pickel Rogers. She was a retired teacher. In February 1942, she married Emsley Tipton Lewis, who preceded her in death in 1960. She married Howard Branch on Dec. 21, 1975, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 2001. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Roger David Lewis, in 1954; daughter, Nita Lewis, in 1993; one brother; and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Deana Lewis Price, of Roxton; four grandchildren, Kemberley Dawn Calk, Sheryl Dian Price, Johnna Lynn Price-Nelson and Robin Michelle Shetters; four great-grandchildren, Marshall Gohlke, Taylor Nelson, Zachary Nelson and Krystal Trlicek; four sisters-in-law, Janet Humphries, Pauline Bowen, Nina Campbell and Lucy Reeves; and numerous nieces and nephews.'
