THE PARIS NEWS, May 16, 2005: "Jerry Box, 70, of Mesquite, a former resident of Blossom, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005, in Mesquite. Graveside services are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, in the Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom with the Rev. Larry Bridges officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. He was born Nov. 5, 1934, in Blossom, a son of Arthur and Bertha Reasoner Box. He was a retired Refrigeration Technician. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Talma Box. Survivors include his children, Debbie Beckwith of Daytona Beach, Fla., Jerrie Ann Cunningham of Austin and Larry Box of Powderly; five grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Box of Mesquite."
