Information from Funeral Home: Dewey Wayne Ingram passed away November 14, 2022 in Denison, Texas. He was born in Chicota March 22, 1940 to parents, Lenwood and Loyce Ingram. Dewey attended Chicota schools then joined the Army. Later, he married Lucille, his first wife, and they had two daughters; Anita and Rhonda. Much later than that, he met and married Bertha and the two remained married until his death. Dewey was a self-proclaimed jack of all trades. He loved spending time in his workshop piddling with junk and building smokers but his favorite pastime was pestering people. If he pestered you, you knew he liked you. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Ingram; daughters, Anita Coots and husband, Jon, and Rhonda Ingram and her fiancé, Larry Fodge; seven grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way. He is also survived by his step-children, Kevin Gates and Brian Jones as well as, brother, Jack Ingram. He was preceded in death by his step children, Sherry Gates and Kenneth Jones as well as several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Friday, November 18th from 6-8 PM at Fry Gibbs Funeral Home. Service will be Saturday, November 19th at 11:00 AM at Red Hill Cemetery with brother, Duane Falk officiating. Pallbearers will be Jon Wayne Coots, Darius Hicks, Ace Ingram, Craig Dangerfield, Harlen Brown and Larry Fodge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Benton Moss and Jerry “Poppie” Coots. On the same stone with wife, Bertha Lois Hall Ingram.
